| 15th July 2011 | BREAKING NEWS! Saturday 16th July will find us at at the
Admiral Drake in Portsmouth. Sunday 17th at the Swan in Woolston,
Southampton, will be a 4pm start. |

in Bordon, Hampshire, tonight. Two nights in a row...is that a

| 21st April 2011 | We have been trawling YouTube for video of the band and
have put together a playlist containing tunes from the Rock & Blues
Festival in Skegness back in January. Click here and enjoy. |
| 7th April 2011 | What is going on this week? Just had a call cancelling the
gig on 15th April at the Marina Fountain in St. Leonards. Apparently
the economic downturn is biting them, so we've been cancelled to save money!!!! |
| 5th April 2011 | Date Change Alert!!! Friday's gig at the Six Bells in Brentford has been moved to the 29th April as a result of diary confusion. |
| 18th December 2010 | Now
here's a first.... we've been beaten by the weather! Following heavy
snowfall across West Sussex this afternoon, which has left roads across
the county in a terrible state, the gig tonight at The White Horse in
Bognor Regis has been postponed until next year. Keep an eye on the gig
guide, or sign up for our monthly email, for news of the revised date. |
| 29th October 2010 | We
have just learned that the gig at The British Arms in Irthlingborough
on Friday 5th November should have been cancelled several months ago.
Never fear though, we will be returning there in February. |
| 7th September 2010 | More
doom and gloom I'm afraid. The Cherry Tree in Kettering is probably
going to be closing it's doors for the last time on Sunday 19th
September. So, to send the old place off in fine style there will
(should) be a line up of three local bands on Saturday 18th. Sadly that
means we won't be playing there as originally planned. :-( |
| 18th August 2010 | Why is
it we only ever have bad news to post here? Oh well.... Friday 20th at
6 Bells, Brentford has had to be cancelled following a diary clash at
the pub. Apologies all round. Don't be too dispondant though as we will
be playing there on Friday 4th September (honest, I've checked!) |
| 18th June 2010 | Apologies
to anyone who went along to see us at the Old Ford in Ash Vale. We
showed up, to have the landlord deny all knowledge of the gig.
Surprising given our parting words when we played there earlier this
year!!! |

another one bites the dust! Friday gig at Tydd Gote Inn is off.
Apparently the lease has been sold and the pub is now closed for a
refurb. Sorry Folks :-( |
| 20th March 2010 | BOTHER!!!!!
The gig tonight in Dorking has been cancelled as a consequence of
ongoing problems with a neighbour. Rescheduled for 15th August. Sorry
folks. |
| 9th March 2010 | Sing with me .... "we're all going on a, summer holiday..." Not exactly
a holiday, but arrangements are now confirmed for a return to the Isle

| 23rd February 2010 | Just a follow up
on the last news bite: The Bawtry gig last Saturday raised £1381 for
Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Thanks to everyone that came and supported the
event and special thanks to Derek for organising the whole thing. That
man is truely a star! |
| 5th February 2010 | Just had some great
news. The benefit gig for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance on 20th February
is SOLD OUT. We're really pleased about that as the Air Ambulance
services across the country are a vital cause, which we are happy to
support and promote. |
| 13th January 2010 | Can't believe it's
been so long since we posted anything on this page! Anyway, a gig
update. Friday 29th January will now be at the Telscombe Tavern in
Telscombe, East Sussex. Go east out of Brighton on the coast road for
about five miles and you'll find it. And yes, I know Telscombe and Twickenham are 75 miles apart; the manager who booked us has moved to the coast! While I'm at it... join us on Facebook |
| 27th November 2009 | The gig at The Horseshoe in Wellingborough has been moved from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December. Start time will be 8.30pm |
| 26th October 2009 | What is it with local
councils? Just been advised that the Bell in Camberley has been served
with a noise abatement notice, so the gig on Saturday 31st October is
off. Grrrr!!!!! |
| 13th October 2009 | In a reversal of our recent luck with venues, we've picked up an extra
gig for this month. Friday 16th October will find us back at The
Frenchman in Folkestone. Come on down and join the fun! |
| 30th September 2009 | The gig at the Yew Tree in
Deal on 16th October has been pulled. For once it's not a noise
problem or the pub closing down though. Apparently one of the pub's
darts teams has become regional champions (or something similar) and
the presentation evening clashes with our gig. As the landlord predicts
that the pub will be empty he didn't see a lot of point in us playing
to an empty room. Fair enough! |

| 11th September 2009 | Problems at the
Ragged Cat in Boscombe (Bournemouth) which have caused it to be closed
for the last week have not been resolved in time, so our gig there
tonight is off. However.... we are hoping to reschedule fairly quickly
so keep an eye on the LIVE page! |
| 4th September 2009 | What is it with
local councils at the moment? Just been told that the gig at the White
Hart in Aldeburgh tomorrow (Saturday) is off as their music license has
been suspended!!!!!!! |
| 26th August 2009 | Another cancellation! At least this one gave us a bit of notice.
The Albion in Ashford, Kent has had to stop having live music following
a noise complaint. So our gig on the 19th September is off. |
| 23rd August 2009 | Apologies to anyone who
turned up at The Ark in Newhaven expecting to see us play last night.
Apparently they have cancelled most of their bands for the foreseeable
future, but no one thought to tell us!!!! The upside is that we are
playing just up the road from the Ark next Friday, 28th August, at the
Hampden Arms in South Heighton. Hopefully see you there. |
