The Mysterious Mr Fish......what can we tell you about this
unusual character? A lover of the products of the Gibson
guitar company with a particular weakness for flame top Les Pauls and
vintage SGs!. We could
talk of
gently glowing valves warming his playing and walls of Marshall cabs
("...so I want a fifty six by twelve, we could build it on the back of
a truck....").
We could tell you of his double-act with Fletch (no, not that kind of
double act) reciting chunks from Laurel and Hardy movies. His Buffalo
Bill song has been known to shock the more delicate audience members,
so we've asked him to refrain from performing that. Of course, there is
always the climbing off of the stage and running amok in the audience
during his solos; we might take away his radio mic....or we might just
let him get on with it as the crowds seem to like it.
